SCHEDULING

• Communication through the app is preferred. All service requests, including changes and cancellations, will receive a timely response via the Charlotte City Pets portal.

• Second best option is to email info@charlottecitypets.com.

• Third option is to call Maureen at (980) 337-0607.

• Service requests via text carry a high risk of being overlooked and cannot be accepted.

VISIT MINIMUM

• Charlotte City Pets requires new clients to schedule a minimum of three (3) pet care visits.

• Minimum requirement is two visits per day for dogs.

HOME ACCESS

• To begin working with Charlotte City Pets, one full set of tested keys (and/or fob) will be required. All are uniquely coded and kept in a secure lockbox. ( A system that worked without issue for decades of pet care in Philly.)

• Keys/fob are usually collected during the Meet & Greet.

• If keys cannot be made available, one full set of working keys/fob must be kept in a lockbox at your residence.

• Charlotte City Pets can leave behind your keys/fob at the end of the last scheduled visit. There is an additional fee to pick up the keys/fob before the start of the next engagement.

• Residents of multi-family buildings are solely responsible for ensuring their apartment home can be accessed for scheduled pet care.

• Return of keys/fob for discontinued service is complimentary.

TUCK-IN SERVICE

• Existing clients receive priority.

• Daytime services are additional.

• Evening timetable is somewhat flexible depending on time of year.

HOME CHECK (no pets)

• Service is limited to existing clients.

​

ADDITIONAL FEES

• Additional pets: $5/dog/visit, $3/cat/visit.

• Additional Time: $5 extra/every additional 10 mins.

• Holiday Surcharge: $5 extra/visit, $20 extra/visit/tuck-in service on Charlotte City Pets holiday dates.

• A $25 fee will be charged for any additional consultations.

LATE REQUESTS & CANCELLATIONS

• Late requests will be charged a $10 late fee.

• Cancel at least 24 hours ahead with no charge.

• Late cancellations incur the full visit fee.

FURTHER DETAILS

• All clients have access to a secure, personalized portal for scheduling, cancelling, making payments, and providing your pet’s specific care needs.

• Charlotte City Pets makes every effort to arrive the same time every day during the pet care assignment. "Anytime" visits refer to busy periods that may require Charlotte City Pets to adjust arrival times.
